Professionally I have always believed that Policy not Person should be ones focus when analysing situations. Some times easier said than done. The Rostering issue has dominated the recent discourse and that is understandable but very short of the full story. The major strategic issue is the so called "Uniform" Policing Model. In this short video I give my reasons. BTW I have had significant reaction to the
Crisis and there are serious misgivings in the Garda at all ranks with the current situation.
Despite this many officers just want to be let do their job. The challenge is to create the
conditions where they can.
